On February 26, 2024, Eduardo Enrique Castillo Rivas, congressman of the Fuerza Popular party, presented before the Commission for Consumer Defense and Regulatory Bodies of the Congress of the Republic Bill No. 7117/2023-CR, Law that amends Article 151 of Law 29571, Code of Consumer Protection and Defense to effectively visualize the complaints book, for the benefit of consumers of mobile applications- apps (the "Bill").
By means of said Bill, it is proposed to amend Article 151 of Law No. 29571, Code of Consumer Protection and Defense, expressly establishing that suppliers that have mobile applications must display, in a visible, permanent and easily accessible place, the link to the Complaints Book.
