On December 13, 2023, the Plenary of Congress approved Bill No. 5434/2022-CR, which amends Article 3° of Legislative Decree No. 1524 and, consequently, eliminates the obligation to include the RUC and the company name of advertisers in all documentation through which goods and/or services are offered, including digital ecommerce platforms, social networks, advertising emails, mobile applications, among others.
It is important to mention that the publication of the regulation in the Official Gazette El Peruano is still pending, after which it will become effective.
