Law No. 31914 approved the amendment of several articles of the Framework Law on Operating Licenses, in order to regulate the circumstances for the closure of establishments.

Among the main modifications are the additions to the list of definitions regulated in article 2, including the definitions of closure, definitive closure, temporary closure and imminent risk.

In addition, a third title is being included that specifically regulates the temporary or definitive closure of establishments, establishing cases for temporary closure, cases in which it is not appropriate, as well as establishing the procedure for this type of closure and, finally, establishing that definitive closure is only appropriate at the end of the administrative sanctioning procedure.
